Rob grew up in the Port Coquitlam area, going to school, playing multiple sports and enjoying his time in the community and Tri City areas.
Rob apprecenticed as a construction worker and joined his dad Steve 8 years ago. Rob is following his father's lead, raising his family in Port Coquitlam.

I had to write and tell you what a wonderful experience we had with Hyde Creek Construction. We were in a bad position, needing to get our back exterior stairs replaced. We didn't have a lot of time, and were thrilled when Steve Whidden not only quickly returned our call for a quote, but did so over the long holiday weekend. He came by on a Sunday, got us a quote by the next day, and he and his son Rob showed up Wednesday morning and had everything skillfully handled and finished by the end of the day, with a minimum of disruption. The stairs they put in were excellently done, and were able to support the two movers and the appliances we need moved with ease.
